Review Health & Safety Procedures in the Workplace D1 & D2 Units
As a trainer, qualified NVQ assessor or internal verifier you will already be aware of the growing emphasis placed on health and safety in the workplace, additionally you may be someone working towards one or more of the awards required for these roles, (Learning & Development Unit A1 for assessors or Unit V1 for
internal verifiers).
The Health & Safety D Unit is a single qualification that covers the basic health and safety competence required of trainers and others responsible for learners in work-based training environments. This can include college premises, work placements etc. This standalone NVQ unit is one of the units from the Learning and Development NVQ at levels 3 and 4. This is an accredited qualification which can, in time, be progressed to completion of the full award. The programme is made up of group sessions and individual appointments to support and guide the candidate through the award.
