Garrie Owens Manging Director

Garrie is a Fellow of the Institute of IT Training, a member of the Institute of Directors and Institute of Royal Engineers. He currently sits on the boards of the Kent and Medway Learning Partnership and the Kent and Medway Basic Skills Consortium.
Following an earlier career in the Armed Forces, Garrie has used his leadership and organisational skills to provide support and advice in the training arena. He has now gained 11 years experience of working with FE including managing College core academic programmes, College commercial delivery, Work Based Learning, ESF projects, and managing and tutoring in learndirect centres.
From 2002 to 2006 he was been responsible for directing the delivery of learndirect throughout Kent and Medway which has given him an in-depth understanding of the complexities and opportunities found in public funded partnerships. His areas of expertise now include FE and European funding streams, online delivery, partnership/consortium management, learning and quality systems design and implementation.
Garrie has a wealth of experience in the Inspection schedule and has taken a partnership of 40 providers through a successful inspection acting as the organisation’s nominee.
Garrie is passionate about helping people realise their potential and he Garrie’s this passion through his business and personal life. He is a  judo black belt and instructor, a former  school governor and works as Chairman of a local Scouts group.

Teresa Gallimore Quality Director

During 6 years spent working for an FE College as a Personal Development Centre Manager, Teresa qualified as a Teacher/Trainer for Adult Education and gained a number of qualifications including Assessor (D32/D33) and Verifier (D34) Awards as part of a level 4 Training and Development NVQ.
She was heavily involved in client projects, planning provision, designing courses, marketing and implementing delivery. This included developing an assessment centre for the Royal School of Military Engineering, creating training programmes and facilitating the delivery of qualifications.
During the last 4 years she has implemented internal quality and audit processes and developed these for a network of training providers including private organisations, colleges, community and voluntary organisations, in order to meet the requirements of Ufi contracts and government funding regulations, this resulted in a good ALI inspection and now an on-going programme which includes Self Assessment Report writing and developing training to support the provider's SAR processes maintains the standards set.
She set up LearnInvicta as an Approved Centre with various awarding bodies including City & Guilds and OCR and is now the Quality Assurance Coordinator for a variety of NVQ schemes as well as internal verifier for a number of them including ITQ. Committed to her own continuous development, in 2004 she gained a Post-graduate certificate in e-Learning Management focussing on Continuous Quality Improvement and is presently working towards an MA in Professional Learning and Development.
